Badr mosque offered an opportunity to fulfill the desire to participate in adopting a new approach in the design of mosques in Egypt. It challenges the conventional approach, which opts for ornaments and decorations, and rather becomes a pure manifestation of form. The mosque is designed to combine the fundamental bases in terms of spaces and elements, whilst integrating nature to add to the sacredness and serenity of the place.
